ASP Integration for UAE e-Invoicing
Choosing a certified Accredited Service Provider is only half the project. TAQATUA is the integration layer that connects your ERP data to it, cleanly and consistently.
What Is an Accredited Service Provider (ASP)?
An Accredited Service Provider (ASP) is a Ministry of Finance-approved intermediary authorized to validate, transform, and transmit structured e-invoices on behalf of a business, and to report that transaction data to the UAE Federal Tax Authority. ASPs are the only parties permitted to submit through the FTA’s e-invoicing channel — a business cannot self-submit outside an accredited provider.
Why Businesses Need an ERP-to-ASP Bridge
Choosing an ASP answers the “who submits our invoices” question. It doesn’t answer “how does data get from our ERP into the exact structured format that ASP requires, correctly, on every transaction, at our volume.” That mapping and validation work is what most businesses discover mid-project — and it’s the layer that sits between your ERP and your ASP.
How TAQATUA Connects Your ERP to a Certified ASP
TAQATUA reads invoice and tax data directly from your ERP, normalizes it into the ASP’s required structured format, validates it against FTA and Peppol schema rules, and hands off the clean document for submission — with delivery confirmations logged back into your system for audit.
One Integration, Multiple ASPs
TAQATUA isn’t built around a single ASP relationship. The same ERP integration can route to the certified ASP your business already works with, or switch providers later, without redoing the ERP-side mapping. For groups evaluating more than one ASP, or businesses that want the flexibility to renegotiate later, that separation between the ERP integration layer and the ASP relationship is the practical benefit of using middleware in the first place.
TAQATUA Is Middleware, Not an ASP
TAQATUA is not an Accredited Service Provider (ASP). We do not hold FTA or Peppol accreditation and never submit invoices under our own name. TAQATUA prepares, validates, and routes your ERP data to the certified ASP partner your business selects — the ASP relationship and accreditation remain separate and explicit.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is TAQATUA an Accredited Service Provider?
No. TAQATUA is middleware that connects your ERP to a certified ASP. TAQATUA does not hold FTA or Peppol accreditation and never submits invoices under its own name.
Do we still need to choose our own ASP?
Yes. TAQATUA integrates with the certified ASP your business selects — we don't replace that decision, we make the ERP side of it easier.
Can we switch ASPs later without redoing our integration?
In most cases, yes. Because TAQATUA's ERP-side mapping is kept separate from the ASP relationship, switching providers typically means reconfiguring the routing, not rebuilding the ERP integration.
What does TAQATUA actually send to the ASP?
A structured, validated invoice document built from your ERP's data, mapped to the format your ASP requires, with supporting fields (tax registration details, line items, currency, credit-note linkage) included.
